Hi! I’m Carla and have recently joined the team at Noosa Physio as an Exercise Physiologist. Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2021, I have immersed myself into the world of health and science and am passionate in using different forms of movement to rehabilitate and prevent acute and chronic conditions and injuries.

My passion for exercise and overall health and wellness started from a very young age as I was involved in competitive sport since I could remember. Working with a wide array of Health Professionals through my endeavours of becoming a Professional Surf Ironwoman, sparked an interest in the essential role exercise plays in improving quality of life, promoting longevity, and reducing the risks of disease and co-morbidities.

Through my own experiences, and further study into pain management, injury rehabilitation and the effectiveness of different forms of movement, I enjoy getting to know each of my clients and working together to find the most effective, safe and most of all enjoyable mode of exercise that suits them.

Completing my Pilates course in 2020, I love taking my clients through fun and creative sessions using the clinic’s extensive Pilates equipment to improve weaknesses, strengthen, tone and challenge!

Out of the clinic, I love to be involved in the community as a Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving member, so please say hello if you see me patrolling, training, or surfing at the beach! Following in Noosa Physio’s head Physio, Jon Moses’s footsteps, you may also see me at the Community Rugby Club treating and keeping the players game ready.

I look forward to meeting you and beginning your journey towards becoming a healthier you!
